• Add support for Verilator version 5. Support for version 4 is still maintained.
• Support the new cyclesim APIs for looking up internal simulation nodes.

• Provide read access to internal signals in verilator simulations.
• Make the caching model of compiled verilator models more flexible. In particular, allow them to be pre-generated by external build rules. Use with care!
